At Hull Fishing Camp, campers will spend the week understanding the fundamentals, philosophy, and have a practical working knowledge of how to fish. The camp practices catch and release and all equipment is provided. Campers will fish from shore with both bait and artificial lures and will learn what equipment to use at a certain spot or time. They’ll learn how to cast to avoid mishaps, how to forecast conditions, the different methods people use to catch fish, shore based fishing safety, and about all of the different fish and marine life in the area. Both the conservation of the local fishery as well as the education of safe catch and release practices are an important part of the camp. Each week has 20 campers with 1 counselor per 10 campers. All counselors are lifeguard, CPR, and first aid certified. They love to fish and educate others on fishing!
